Heyden the angel... she's the one with the green hair.

Tucker says, "Get off my lawn, you rotten whippersnappers!"

Rogue's gallery. I wonder what they will dress up like for Halloween?

Soccer is a serious business. Quit goofing off, Joshias!

Hiking over fall break. Heyden fell off a cliff today. Maybe she's still got some tomboy in her!

This rodent was being properly disposed of by our dogs. But my ridiculous family rescued it. Poor dogs! Unfortunately, we don't have a picture of two little bunny legs sticking out of Strider's mouth. But I think that image is burned into Bridgette's brain. Everyone here called it Bun-Bun... except the dogs and I, who referred to it as Snack. Somehow it pulled through, and they released it back into the wild (or the Circle of Life, as I like to call it). Now they think they can save anything!

Heyden (as if you couldn't tell).

Tucker, Timothy, Andrew, Heyden, Natalie and Colton.
"Six little monkeys, sitting in a tree..."

Camp food cooked by Cub Scouts. Hmmmmm. Maybe we should rethink this. Note the birthday present from Colton on my head.

Closeup of my birthday present from Colton. It says, "Brazil has some fine beaches." He claims he got it 'cuz it has a picture of Bridgette on it. I've got to agree... This is now the 'picture of mom' hat. You can make your own comparison to a previous (7/27/2008) post...

Heyden had to get rid of 98% of the junk in her room. The only thing she could keep was photos of her favorites. Here she is posing with a few of the victims of the purge.

Heyden made the cake by herself for her dad's birthday. Pretty cool, eh? Someone can't count. I'm really 41. Some people would kill to be a year younger. I really don't care...

Cub Scout campout. The joy on this face is because he is being bitten by chigger 53 of 70.

Posing in the woods. Somehow, the tomboy is wearing off. Dang! I'll still teach her to shoot so she'll scare the dumb boys away.

Nature or nurture? Did you see the previous picture?

Brotherly love. We warned Colton that he would pay for knocking Tucker down while he learned to walk.

And of course, everyone loves me the most.

We spent the last day of summer before school started at Spring Valley Beach, a local water park.

Cheesehead!

Ganstas! (ok, wannabes)

Everyone's favorite slide, the Sidewinder. Just ask the kids how much Mom liked it!

Starving after swimming all day.

Cowabunga!
